The
Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League (THJSL) includes
seven separate recreational clubs. Games are played througout the
Hillsboro/Beaverton area.
Founded over twenty years ago, the purpose of the League is to teach,
govern and promote the game of soccer for youth players in the Tualatin
Hills Park and Recreation District and/or the Beaverton School District
#48.
The League's primary role is to operate a recreational soccer league as
a joint activity of its member recreational clubs.
Competitive ("Classic") clubs may be members of the League for
purposes of coordination.
The league seeks to promote sportsmanship, a sense of fair play within
the framework of a team sport and to develop an interest in and a
working knowledge of the game of soccer.
This web site is intended to be a resource for all of us involoved with
THJSL; to provide information about the current and upcoming seasons,
help you find other useful soccer sites, serve as a storehouse for
THJSL documents; and to help you contact the THJSL Board members.
As the site grows, we'll add other information and links to help
improve communications between the Board and players, and coaches, and
parents.
Here is a

on respect - the relationships among players (kids), parents (adults)
and the game. Every parent and coach needs to visit - and our thanks to
the
English Football Association for this "programme." As the leadin-page
says, you can help to...
- Improve conduct on the
sidelines
- Promote positive role
models
- Keep children in the
game
